Hawzah News Agency- Sheikh Qowisi emphasized that the school of Ahl al-Bayt (AS) has been distinguished by a continuous chain of jurists and religious authorities who devoted their lives to preserving the teachings of Islam, defending the landmarks of faith, and spreading the principles of justice and truth. “From the narrators of hadith who safeguarded the religious heritage under great hardship to the prominent jurists such as Sheikh Saduq, Sheikh Mufid, Sayyid Murtaza, and Sheikh Tusi, this sacred mission has continued uninterrupted,” he noted.
He added that this intellectual movement reached new heights with scholars such as Allama Hilli, Al-Shahid Al-Awwal and Thani, and Mohaqiq Karki, paving the way for later figures like the eminent Mohaqiq Naeini.
Highlighting Mirza Naeini’s pivotal role in the intellectual evolution of the seminary, the representative of Imam Hussain’s (AS) shrine said: “Mohaqiq Naeini was not only a profound researcher but also a custodian of the divine mission of jurisprudence. His book Fa’idah al-Usul stands as a comprehensive school of scholarly inquiry, providing a strong methodological foundation for subsequent jurists.”
He noted that Mirza Naeini’s scientific contributions included numerous works and a generation of distinguished students who later became leading authorities of the seminary.
Describing Ayatollah Naeini’s era as a turning point in the history of Islamic scholarship, Sheikh Qowisi stated: “Following the era of the great Sheikh and during the time of Akhund Khorasani, Mohaqiq Naeini elevated the science of usul al-fiqh to new levels of precision and analytical depth. His rigorous approach to terminology and argumentation granted the discipline a distinctive research-based character.”
Concluding his remarks, Sheikh Qowisi said the intellectual and moral legacy of Allama Naeini continues to illuminate the path of seminaries and scholars: “His works and teachings remain a beacon for the Muslim Ummah and a source of inspiration for ongoing jurisprudential and theological research.”
